The Sisters Of Our Lady Of Kilimanjaro (CDNK) Holds The 7th General Chapter

The two-month long 7th General Chapter of the Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro, held from November 4, 2013 to December 16, 2013 ended successfully with the election of the New Superior General, Sister Theresia Buretta and five consultors who will work with her in all administrative duties of the Congregation for the six years of her tenure of office.

The purpose of this 7th General Chapter was to explore ways and means of enabling every Sister in the Congregation to be able to fully and unreservedly, contribute to the Congregation's main goal – i,e. to Praise God by living the Gospel Message in and through the Church and the community she is assigned to.

Among the issues discussed at the General Chapter included: The Sisters Spiritual growth, the Apostolate and the Services of every member for the well-being of the Congregation, the Church and the entire human person.

With A grateful heart, every CDNK member praises God and prays for the new Administration, to embrace its new duties and responsibilities, with love and commitment, and vows to help it to succeed for God's Glory and the salvation of the human race - as the Congregation's Charism states:

“Do all things for the Glory of God and for the Salvation of humanity.”
